I had a sample of this "all natural" sweetener the other day at Target. It was awful. I mean really really awful. I think I will stick to things that are single source, like honey, stevia and maybe agave. I just don't generally like sweet things.
Once you cut back on sweets it's so much easier to see how over sweetened most commercial food is. All though I do still get Starbucks sometimes, I have them put 2 pumps of chocolate in my mocha instead of the normal 5. I much prefer to go to the local coffee place that uses chocolate milk from a local dairy to make their mochas. I don't know if it really cuts down on the actual sugar, but it does cut down on the sweet a lot.
I'm the same way with salt. I just don't use it. Once you cut back you realize how overused salt is in the average American diet.
Cutting back can be hard, but it's worth it. Food (real food - not chemical food) just tastes better.
