I am headed to Monterey, CA in just a few days. I am so looking forward to the trip. The Big Sur Half Marathon is on the 20th. I will have a couple of days beforehand to relax and get ready. I am spending time with some old friends and plan to just enjoy the heck out of it. Monterey is one of my favorite places and I relish each and every trip there.
One of the friends I plan to see is a fellow balloon artist. It's always great to get together with other artists. She's a hoot and it should be a good time. The other friend is definitely NOT an artist, but rather the most serious woman I know. Even so it should be fun. We've known each other a long long time and out get togethers are always special. It's good to have old friends in your life.
