Little bits of happiness.

Sometimes it's the tiny little things that just brighten my day.  Right now it's the background on my computer.  I have a slide show set up with pictures I have taken.  Ones that I really enjoy.  It's a small thing but whenever it switches the movement catches my eye and I focus on the picture for a second.  It brings back a memory of the moment when I took the picture and for a second that's where I am.

Of all the photographs I have taken - this is one of my favorites.  It's from Monterey, CA, where we are planning on moving next summer.  I took it while on a road trip with my youngest daughter last March.  The weather was wonderful, a nice change from the snowy cold of Missouri.  That trip was the first time my daughter had ever seen the ocean.  We had a great time.

Some days that's all it takes - a glimpse of a memory.  Little bits of happiness can add up.
